Retail Asia Awards opens nominations for outstanding retailers

Deadline of submission is on 24 March 2023.

The past few years have witnessed how the retail industry embraced changes brought by the rapid adoption of digital channels in its operations. The growth of e-commerce landscape and online retail spaces allowed brands to reach more customers across the globe and provide more flexibility into their offerings.

Now, fierce market competition and faster production rates have highlighted the need to employ sustainability measures in the industry and incorporate such measures into retailers’ processes. This comes as the environmental impacts of the ever-growing industry becomes more evident. Organisations that are steering and making huge leaps towards this goal deserve to be recognised.

Retail Asia continues to celebrate industry excellence amidst a prosperous year for the region as it proudly brings back the Retail Asia Awards, now in its 18th year. The prestigious awards programme, which has been highlighting outstanding performances in the retail industry since 2004, gathers Asia’s best retailers and shines light on their remarkable retail initiatives.

The firm bagged the International Retailer of the Year - Australia, Sustainability Initiative of the Year - Australia and the Store Design of the Year (Large) - Australia awards last year.

Nominees will be judged based on uniqueness and innovation, success and impact, and dynamism. The winners in the awards programme will be determined by a distinguished panel of experts.
