Levi Strauss & Co appoints new SAMEA lead

Amisha Jain will be the new senior vice president and managing director in the regions.

Levi Strauss & CO. announced Amisha Jain will be its new lead in South Asia, Middle East, and Africa. 

Jain will be the new senior vice president and managing director in the covered regions, taking the place of Sanjeev Mohanty, who currently holds the same position in the US and Canada.

“Amisha’s years leading digital and physical retail businesses, her track record of delivering results while connecting with consumers and her passion for innovation are a combination that will set our SAMEA cluster up for accelerated growth,” Seth Ellison, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Levi Strauss & Co. said. 

Jain has more than 20 years of experience in physical and digital retail, consumer goods and technology. 

Prior to her stint as SAMEA lead for Levi Strauss, Jain served as the CEO of Zivame, a leading intimate wear brand in India. She also holds an MBA from INSEAD and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas.
