Puig buys majority stake in cosmetics brand Dr. Barbara Sturm
Sturm will retain a minority stake and remain as the company’s brand ambassador.
Spanish premium beauty brand Puig has acquired the majority stake in the German cosmetics brand Dr. Barbara Sturm.
However, founder Dr. Barbara Sturm will maintain a minority stake and remain as the Chief Product Development Officer and Brand Ambassador of the company, Puid said in a statement
The acquisition of Dr. Barbara Sturm solidifies Puig’s position as the industry leader in the premium skincare segment. With this strategy with a recognised luxury brand, Puig becomes able to offer high-performance treatments with deep expertise in skincare through Dr. Barbara Sturm’s existing digital channels and global networks.

With the widening of its portfolio spanning skincare, body care, haircare and supplements , Puig has also set plans for global expansion through its established networks of boutiques in Düsseldorf, London, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, Jakarta, and Singapore.
