EssilorLuxottica, Dolce&Gabbana extend distribution deal

The renewed deal lasts from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2039.

Italian-French eyewear corporation EssilorLuxottica and iconic luxury brand Dolce&Gabbana have renewed their global licensing agreement for the development, production and distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses under the Dolce&Gabbana brand.

The existing agreement, lasting from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 31 2029, has been renewed with a new contract, covering 16 years, effective 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2039.

The early renewal serves as a testament to the strong two-decade partnership and collaborative nature between the two companies since 2005.

“Since our stories intertwined, we have created some beautiful, memorable and innovative frames together, each a ‘made in Italy’ masterpiece. We have cultivated a love, admiration and loyalty among the most discerning consumers, developing a deep trust and respect for each other along the way,” Francesco Milleri, Chairman and CEO at EssilorLuxottica, said.
