Olive Young goes online in Southeast Asia

It will launch, via the Shopee platform, in Indonesia and Malaysia first, then to Taiwan in March.

South Korea’s largest health and beauty retailer Olive Young has opened an online shop on Shopee in Southeast Asian markets, bringing about 300 products under its private brands over the platform, IGD reported.

The six private brands are WAKEMAKE, colorgram, RoundAround, Botanic Heal boH, Bring Green, and Filllimilli. These items will be launched in Indonesia and Malaysia first, and the shop will expand to Taiwan in March.

“These two countries have a large number of young consumers who are interested in K-beauty products and very active in e-commerce, thus making the task of establishing Olive Young’s brand awareness relatively easier,” IGD’s senior retail analyst Jiong-Jiong Yu said.
