Thailand-based omnichannel retailer Central Retail Group appointed Ood Natthira Bunsri as the new CEO of the Central and Robinson Department Store brand.

In a statement, Central Retail Group said Bunsri accepted the post, where she will help propel the company's international scene.

Bunsri’s appointment serves as one of the core strategies from Central Retail for solidifying its reputation in Thailand and establishing its presence in the global market with signature service and innovative shopping experiences for customers.

An heir to the Chirathivat family, Bunsri has been an experienced figure in the retail industry for almost 20 years. She held a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Under the major Thai conglomerate, she served as Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing the partnerships of Central Retail with other businesses, integrating omnichannel marketing with its mall operations, promoting the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR), and creating shared social value (CSSV) initiatives.
