FMCG Asia Awards 2022 opens doors for nominations

Entry submission will close on 07 October 2022.

Asia Pacific’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is now on an upward movement as markets recover from the pandemic with stronger focus on health, ascent of e-commerce activities, and stabilisation of economies further pushing growth for organisations. The main challenge now lies with the ever-changing consumer preferences due to the rapid shift in attention caused by fast-paced technologies.

However, innovative companies are already ahead of this, leveraging the current trends to thrive amidst the challenging environment.

To recognise these organisations, Retail Asia is launching FMCG Asia Awards in its 2nd year. The prestigious awards programme gathers the region’s best FMCG companies that have shown exemplary performance with their outstanding products and initiatives.

Nominations are open to all companies in Asia’s FMCG industry; product brands and/or product lines can also be nominated for the awards.

“I’m still very, very happy. I'm sure speaking on behalf of the team, we are very, very happy that this is a validation of all the hard work that we have done. But I think more importantly because of the social mission, the purpose that we need to continue to deliver. This is the perfect motivation for us to continue to deliver good products and to help NTUC fair price deliver its social mission,” said Jolene Yeo, Deputy Director, Own Brands & Food Solution (Retail) of NTUC FairPrice.

The firm bagged three awards in the inaugural year of the FMCG Asia Awards, taking home the Home Brand of the Year - Singapore, Campaign of the Year - Singapore, and Product Packaging of the Year - Singapore awards.

To be eligible for nomination for product categories, the nominated product must demonstrate significant success or accomplishments achieved in the last 24 calendar months. Whilst for the project categories, the initiative must be launched within the last 24 calendar months, either in part or full. Projects launched prior to 24 calendar months are eligible if recent developments or upgrades were made.

Deadline for nominations is on 07 October 2022. An elite panel of judges will carefully evaluate the submissions. Winners will be honoured at the digital awards presentations in November 2022.
