Kering names new Gucci CEO

He replaces Jean-François Palus.

Kering has appointed Stefano Cantino as the new CEO of Gucci, effective 1 January 2025.

Cantino will report to Francesca Bellettini, Kering's Deputy CEO of Brand Development. He replaces Jean-François Palus, who has led Gucci since July 2023.

Cantino brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He joined Gucci in May 2024 as Deputy CEO after a five-year tenure at Louis Vuitton, where he was responsible for Communications and Image.

Prior to that, he spent 20 years with the Prada Group, rising through the ranks in marketing and commercial roles, ultimately serving as director of Communications and Marketing. Cantino holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Turin.
