Zalora names new CEO

Felipe Garcia Alvarez will take on the role in early September.

Global Fashion Group (GFG) has appointed Felipe Garcia Alvarez as the new CEO of ZALORA. He will take on the role in early September.

Felipe brings over 20 years of experience in e-commerce, fashion, and digital transformation across Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

He previously served as CEO of Namshi, Executive VP of Fashion at Lazada, and held leadership roles at Amazon, where he led the UK Fashion division and built the first centralized consumer category team in the EU.

Felipe said, “I’m excited to join ZALORA and work with the team to deliver great fashion experiences to customers across Southeast Asia.”
