JD Auto Service, Continental Tire launch instant tire delivery in China

It also offers quick tire replacement.

JD Auto Service, in partnership with Continental Tire, has introduced China’s first instant tire delivery and installation service.

The service combines JD.com’s "JD NOW" platform with Continental Tires’ "Fast Delivery" system, offering customers quick tire replacement in as little as 30 minutes.

With more than 800 tire products available, including sizes from 14 to 23 inches, customers can order through the JD App or JD Auto’s nationwide maintenance network, even if the product is out of stock at local stores. The service features automated order processing, efficient last-mile logistics, and certified technician installation, similar to food delivery services.

“Chinese car owners are demonstrating the growing demand for genuine product guarantees, transparent pricing, and instant service accessibility,” said Forest Tang, general manager of Continental Tires China.

The new service capitalises on the rapidly growing instant retail market in China, which is expected to reach $5t (RMB36t) by 2030.
