The company secured the award following outstanding financial performance and strategic store enhancements across Indonesia.
PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk won Jewellery Retailer of the Year - Indonesia in the Retail Asia Awards 2026. This recognition comes after the integrated gold jewellery and bullion company delivered strong market achievements and retail performance.
The company recorded strong revenue growth of 89.56% YoY in the first nine months of 2025, whilst net profit surged by 90.70% YoY as well. Its retail segment, which includes both offline and online channels, contributed 16.54% of consolidated revenue and recorded a 31% year-on-year increase. This reflects the growing importance of the store network of the company in driving consumer engagement.
Currently, PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk operates 84 company-owned Hartadinata Abadi Stores across Indonesia. This network receives support from more than 1,000 points of sale nationwide, reinforcing the role of the company as a key jewellery retailer with extensive national reach.
Amidst a challenging environment marked by moderating jewellery demand since the pandemic, the company successfully addressed market pressures through strategic retail optimisation. During 2024 to 2025, it deliberately focused on relocating and replacing underperforming stores rather than pursuing aggressive expansion. This disciplined approach ensured higher operational efficiency and improved store productivity. It also positioned the company to pursue sustainable growth, with a clear plan to reach 100 optimised stores in 2026.
Hartadinata Abadi Stores function as one-stop shopping destinations, offering jewellery, bullion, and integrated services such as gold pawn units located adjacent to stores. Operational upgrades to the point-of-sale system improved transaction speed and customer convenience. Product differentiation further strengthens this strategy, exemplified by collaborations such as the YUPI-inspired solid gold jewellery collection. The company also introduced lifestyle products like HRTA Gold Anabul, a 0.2-gram gold bar shaped like pet paws, to expand customer engagement.
