Five Star Vietnam from C.P. Vietnam Corporation won F&B Brand of the Year - Vietnam in the Retail Asia Awards 2026. Five Star brand has grown into one of the largest fried chicken chains in the country. Since its entry into the Vietnamese market in 2012, the brand focused on delivering tasty and consistent meals at prices that remained accessible to a wide range of consumers.
Central to the success of Five Star Vietnam is the fully integrated 3F+ supply chain of C.P. Vietnam Corporation. This Feed–Farm–Food system ensures strict quality control throughout the entire production process. By managing everything from animal feed and farming to food processing and distribution, the company maintains high standards of traceability whilst optimising production costs. This operational efficiency allows the brand to offer competitive pricing amidst a rapidly growing and crowded fast-food market.
Five Star Vietnam now operates a network of more than 1,000 outlets nationwide. This expansion relies on a flexible business model that includes kiosks, premium kiosks, outlets, and full-scale shops. With initial investments starting from only around US$4,000, the brand provides accessible business opportunities for local entrepreneurs and small business owners. This partnership model created thousands of jobs across logistics, food preparation, and store operations, particularly in local communities.
In addition to its signature fried chicken, Five Star Vietnam continuously develops its menu to meet evolving tastes. Recent additions like Japanese-style crispy chicken and spaghetti with multiple flavours offer variety whilst keeping meal prices between US$2 and US$3.
