Manufacturers are responding to this trend. In June, Unilever launched BeautyHub PRO in the Philippines and Thailand, an AI-powered app that provides instant skincare and haircare recommendations.
Earlier in March, Dove introduced the Scalp + Hair Therapist tool, which uses AI to create personalized hair and scalp profiles. In Hong Kong, AI startup HairCoSys launched a mobile app for scalp and hair evaluation.
