Li & Fung acquires UK-based Orrsum to expand hosiery, loungewear business

This is Li & Fung’s first acquisition in over ten years.

Li & Fung has acquired UK-based Orrsum, a leading supplier of socks, underwear, and loungewear.

The move marks Li & Fung’s first acquisition in over ten years and the first since going private in 2020.

Founded in 1998, Orrsum supplies over 50 million pairs of socks annually to more than 5,000 retail locations worldwide. The company is known for its fast product development and strong customer relationships.

Orrsum will operate under LF Europe and continue to be led by CEO William Orr.

It will use Li & Fung’s AI-enabled digital infrastructure and sourcing network across 40 markets to improve supply chain agility and expand into new regions and channels.
