AS Watson Group appoints Marionnaud Group’s new CEO, deputy CEO

Their appointment is effective starting April 2024.

AS Watson has named Kulvinder Birring and Gabriele Betti as CEO and deputy CEO of perfumeries and cosmetics retailer Marionnaud Group, a subsidiary of CK Hutchison Holdings.

Birring currently serves as Watsons China CEO, a position he held since 2018. Before that, he was Watsons’ Managing Director of Malaysia and Indonesia.

As Marionnaud Group’s CEO, Birring will lead the company’s over 730 offline plus online stores across eight markets.

Meanwhile, Betti was promoted from his current position as managing director of Marionnaud France, Italy and Central Europe.
