Pop Mart opens first store in Bali
It is also Bali’s first LABUBU-themed outlet.
Global designer toy brand Pop Mart has opened its first Bali store near Kuta Beach. This is also the island’s first LABUBU-themed location.
This marks Pop Mart’s seventh store in Indonesia and continues its rapid growth in Southeast Asia.
LABUBU, a fan-favorite character, takes center stage here—dressed in beachwear and featured in photo zones and art installations inside a store designed to reflect Bali’s natural and architectural charm.
The grand opening included a traditional Balinese blessing, sarong-clad guests, and a Barong dance performance, blending local culture with Pop Mart’s global identity.
Bali’s strong tourism numbers make it a prime location for Pop Mart’s collectible toys, the company said.
Since entering Indonesia in 2024, the brand has grown rapidly, with major locations in cities like Jakarta, Shanghai, and Singapore—and more coming soon, including Japan’s Narita Airport.
