Olive Young rolls out multilingual personal shopper service in Gangnam
It will be available on a trial basis until 31 March.
K-beauty retailer Olive Young has launched a multilingual personal shopper service at its Gangnam flagship store, targeting international customers.
Running on a trial basis until 31 March, the ‘Olive Young Personal Shopper’ service offers personalised shopping assistance in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese.
The complimentary service, bookable via the travel platform Klook, includes a 30-minute guided consultation tailored to individual beauty needs. Customers will receive curated product recommendations based on a pre-session survey and their skin type.
Shoppers will also receive a welcome kit with product samples, while those spending over 500,000 KRW will get a VIP gift. Purchases exceeding 1,000,000 KRW qualify for free hotel delivery.
Olive Young is evaluating customer feedback to determine whether to expand the service to other high-traffic locations. Since 2019, its e-commerce platform, Olive Young Global Mall, has been shipping K-beauty products to customers in 150 countries.
