Central Retail launches megaproject ‘Tops CLUB’
The project seeks to bring a global household shopping experience.
Central Retail, through its unit Central Food Retail, has launched megaproject “Tops CLUB,” which seeks to bring consumers a global household shopping experience.
Central Retail plans to create Tops CLUB as an empire with a membership model, offering more than 3,500 products largely consisting of imported goods and exclusive brands.
The first Tops CLUB flagship store will officially open in September in Rama II. The company expects it to be a must-visit destination amongst local and foreign shoppers.
“Tops Market is a successful brand in Thailand, and the success is expanded further into Vietnam,” Stephane Coum, CEO - Food Group, Central Retail, said.
“To elevate our retail business as we embark on our third decade, and to grow steadily, strongly and sustainably, we have announced our 5-year strategy with four key areas to lead our food retail business towards our goal.”

This is under its CRC Retailligence strategy, which saw an investment of THB18b as Central Retail aimed to triple revenue and expand its customer base to become a leading food retailer in Thailand and Vietnam.
“We are confident that Tops will become a brand that truly understands what consumers need, going beyond traditional supermarket and growing steadily, strongly and sustainably,” he also said.
