Central Retail invests $496m to remodel Robinson Lifestyle branches
The company plans to bring new concept designs with a “local touch.”
Central Retail Corporation (CRC) is investing $495.73m (THB17b) to remodel its Robinson Lifestyle property business within five years as an “all-in-one shopping centre” with the aim of modernising spaces and maximising convenience, a news release revealed.
With expansion plans set for 2022, the four strategies include bringing new concept designs with a “local touch,” accelerating new business growth engines, contributing to local communities and driving sustainable growth, the company said.
Robinson Lifestyle reimagined its Banchang, Rayong branch as its model shopping centre. The branch was designed under a ‘sense of island’ concept, taking inspiration from the colours of the sea, then fused with Robinson Lifestyle’s modern designs, the company said.
“With renovation plans set for other branches, the four strategies will continue to be the core pillars that help guide our thinking,” the company said
The company plans to launch two more new branches, including Robinson Lifestyle Thalang and Robinson Lifestyle Ratchapreuk in 2022. The company is investing more than $29m (THB1b) each for the two projects.
For renovations this year, the company is investing over $16.91m (THB580m) across three branches, including Robinson Lifestyle Chachoengsao, Robinson Lifestyle Srisaman and Robinson Lifestyle Chanthaburi.
