UK's Frank Dale Foods enters Asia

The UK’S leading premium party food manufacturer, Frank Dale Foods, has begun to expand its footprint in Asia. It has introduced its renowned Classic British Miniatures to the Singapore retail market, putting five classic British party food products on the shelves at Jason’s the Gourmet Grocer, Market Place, and selected Cold Storage supermarket stores.

The mini Fish and Chips, mini Strawberry and Cream Scones, and the mini Victoria Sponges are topping the bill of the newly launched product range.

Claire Carter, International Business Development executive of Frank Dale Foods, said the idea behind the range is to bring a little bit of classic British nostalgia to the table with the selection of ready-prepared, convenient, easy-to serve, fun party foods with a distinct touch of class. The new selection retails at S$14.95 (US$11.96) per box.

Frank Dale Foods is keen to tap the market opportunity in Asia, “where there is a wide range of local finger food but a very small variety of western-style party food … We feel there is a good opportunity to serve the Asian market by offering our premium party foods which are easy to keep fresh and serve.”

Carter is confident that the new product range will be firm winners among Singapore’s avid entertainers and party hosts.

Frank Dale Foods produces 14 million Classic British Miniatures a year in its Norfolk country kitchens. Its wide product range includes hand-finished savoury & sweet canapés, delicious mini cakes, traditional stone-oven-baked quiche pick-ups and rustic country quiche.
