L'Oréal boosts beauty innovation with startup investment in SAPMENA

It offers startups collaboration opportunities with its 37 brands.

L'Oréal is ramping up its investment in beauty innovation across the South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa (SAPMENA) region with the launch of the 2025 Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program.

The initiative focuses on supporting startups, offering them the chance to collaborate with L'Oréal’s 37 brands, access exposure in 35 markets, and participate in a year-long mentorship program with senior executives.

Expanding to include Australia and New Zealand, the program invites startups to tackle five key themes, including Science for Beauty, Consumer Experience, Content & Media, New Commerce, and Tech for Good.

“By working with promising startups to co-create and co-develop beauty tech and science solutions, we can accelerate the pace of innovation and elevate the beauty experience for consumers in the SAPMENA region,” said Vismay Sharma, president of L'Oréal SAPMENA Zone.
