DFI Retail Group and PolyU SPEED ink MoU for retail talent development

It will introduce Hong Kong's first QF Level 6 Programme in the field of retail.

DFI Retail Group (DFI) and The School of Professional Education and Executive Development of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU SPEED) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at attracting and cultivating talent in the retail sector.

The agreement entails collaboration in various areas, including developing a master's-level first retail Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 6 Programme tailored to the evolving retail industry needs.

Additionally, a Bachelor's-level Retail QF Level 5 Programme will be established to bolster retail management skills.

DFI will also offer internships to College of Professional and Continuing Education of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (CPCE) students to provide real-world retail experience.

Moreover, the collaboration will also organise business case competitions to enhance students' problem-solving abilities.

"We are delighted to embark on this collaborative journey with PolyU," said Joy Xu, group chief people & culture officer of DFI Retail Group.

“By combining our industry knowledge with PolyU's academic expertise, we aim to create impactful educational programmes and opportunities that will benefit both our team members and the retail industry as a whole,” she added.
