CDFG and IPPG partner to boost tourism and retail sectors

It is also set to strengthen economic and trade ties between China and Vietnam.

China Duty Free Group (CDFG) and Vietnam-based Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to form a strategic partnership aimed at expanding business opportunities in the tourism and travel retail sectors.

The collaboration is also set to strengthen economic and trade ties between China and Vietnam.

The two companies will jointly operate duty-free stores in key locations across Vietnam, including airports and major tourist destinations. IPPG will provide local support, including logistics and regulatory approvals, to ensure smooth operations.

A comprehensive marketing strategy, in partnership with hotels, banks, and digital platforms, will be implemented to drive sales and enhance customer experience.

Moreover, the collaboration will  explore additional projects in travel retail and tourism, using joint investments and marketing initiatives to enhance customer engagement and service offerings.
