L’occitane launches botanical lab pop-up in Hainan, China
It has four distinct zones, each designed to engage the senses.
L’occitane Group has opened its first L’OCCITANE en Provence Botanical Lab pop-up at the China Duty Free Group International Duty-Free Complex in Sanya, Hainan, China.
The activation, launched on 27 September, invites travellers to explore the brand’s botanical ingredients through an interactive, multi-sensory experience.
“At this spectacular activation in Hainan, travellers can explore the power of botanical ingredients in an interactive setting, offering an immersive experience that reflects the brand’s values,” said Evelyne Ly-Wainer, managing director, Global Travel Retail L’occitane Group.
Visitors to the L’occitane Botanical Lab will experience four distinct zones. The Son et Lumière zone features a 360-degree digital display with projections of botanicals like rosemary, lavender, and peppermint.
In the Bubble Garden, guests can catch bubbles infused with signature botanicals and explore the scents of the brand's hair care collections.
The Hair Lab offers personalised hair diagnoses, along with product recommendations from L’OCCITANE’s latest hair care lines, including a Scalp Night Serum and Fortifying Serum.
Moreover, in the Face Lab, a skin analysis using a handheld device leads to tailored product recommendations, highlighting the Immortelle collection, particularly the Immortelle Divine Cream.
The experience concludes in the Gifting Zone, where visitors can purchase L’occitane’s popular products and exclusive offers.
