CJ Olive Young opens first Korean snacks store in Busan
It offers Korean healthy snacks popular with tourists.
South Korea's CJ Olive Young opened its first standalone store for the healthy snack brand Delight Project on 30 April in Busan’s Haeundae district.
Launched in January 2021, Delight Project offers Korean healthy snacks like Bagel Chips and Honey Yakgwa, which have become popular souvenirs for tourists. Sales from foreign visitors have grown about 30 times each year over the past three years.
The Haeundae store features the full product line, a Tasting Bar for sampling, and exclusive items such as the Haeundae Palmier Carre Gift Collection. It also offers local-inspired snacks like Seed Hotteok Dalgona and Honey Mustard Bagel Chips.
A CJ Olive Young spokesperson said the store’s location in Haeundae was chosen because it is a key tourist destination.
