Shiseido launches NARS Cosmetics in India

It aims to ramp up its growth in Asia Pacific.

Shiseido has expanded its footprint in India with the launch of the global makeup brand NARS Cosmetics in India, following a strategic distribution partnership deal with Global SS Beauty Brand.

The company first ventured into the Inda market in 2001 and has since launched the Brand Shiseido and fragrances.

Its aims to shift to a “high-profit structure through active investment” by establishing its business foundation in Asia Pacific.

“With the launch of NARS in India, Shiseido aims to strengthen its prestige skin beauty brand portfolio and accelerate growth in the Asia Pacific region,” it said.

Global SS Beauty Brands is a subsidiary of the leading premium fashion and beauty destination in India,  Shoppers Stop Limited.
