Everbest Soya Bean Products Sdn Bhd bags Consumer Good of the Year at FMCG Awards 2021

They are the first-ever soybean company to put their products on shelves and counters in Malaysia for easy accessibility, bringing a fast and convenient experience to the community.

Producing the healthiest and most innovative ready-to-eat meals of the highest quality, Everbest Soya Bean Products Sdn Bhd bags the Consumer Good of the Year accolade in the product category in the FMCG Asia Awards 2021. The awards recognise the region's best fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies that have shown exemplary performance and their most outstanding products and initiatives.

Established in 1995 with an aim to be an innovative company to develop wholesome foods that create a better and healthier lifestyle for all customers, Everbest has since then grown to become the most dynamic integrated soya bean products manufacturing company in Malaysia.

The company started the first integrated soybean product processor in high tech processing plants with a total of 304,920 sq. ft located at Penang Science Park in 2013. Everbest then expanded to a third plant with a total of 871,200 sq.ft. in Kulim Hi-Tech Park to cater to additional market demand and offer more variety of products to consumers.

Building towards a greener and better Earth for the future generations, they also emphasised the use of green technology by recycling their soybean husks as animal feed.

The fast-paced lifestyle has made people crave for easy-to-cook and delicious products these years. Followed by the shifting of preference amongst consumers, there is a significant increase in simple and convenient products.  Everbest took the lead to develop the first ready-to-eat hotpot product – Ring Roll – and developed it into new packages: convenient pack (2 pieces) for easier carrying. It is also available in a 14-piece family pack suitable for family use and gathering. The product has developed from a traditional hotpot ingredient to an ideal add on to all soup-based dishes and is made of high-quality premium bean curd skin that requires no rinsing, cooking or additional actions.

Aside from all the frozen hotpot ingredients, Ring Roll is a healthier ingredient choice that is high in protein, cholesterol free and it has no artificial colouring and flavouring. The company only uses specially selected non-GMO soya beans from Canada for all their soya bean products to ensure the food quality is well maintained.

Followed by the rising demand and sales of the hotpot product in the market, the production of Ring Roll has grown more than 50% from 2019 up to 2021. Exporting to 31 countries around the globe, Everbest's other products include fresh soy stick, vegetarian chai gor, and vegetarian layer meat which are all accessible in the market and perfect for consumers to grab and go in their daily life.

Together with a stringent monitoring process, Everbest adopted new technologies and new farming methods to assure the food safety and quality in meeting global standards. Their products have HACCP certification, Halal certification, and FSSC 22000 Certification.

With a wide distribution network spanning across Asia for over 26 years, Everbest plans to establish a larger market internationally and provide support to Malaysia’s quest to be a major exporter.
