Revamped Courts Megastore delivers ‘bricks and clicks' shopping

Courts Singapore, retailer of home electronics, IT and furniture products, has redesigned its flagship Megastore in Tampines, Singapore -- creating a brand new immersive store experience designed around the needs of Singapore homeowners and modern apartment living.

With the official grand opening on 11 November, the Courts Megastore offers 136,000 square feet of experiential areas, services, extensive range and affordable deals over three floors.

In conjunction with the Megastore makeover, Courts also unveiled its newly relaunched online store (www.courts.com.sg), to seamlessly unify the offline and online shopping experience for an omni-channel reach.

The webstore is the largest in Courts’ store network to date, offering over 17,000 stock keeping units (SKUs), the company said. It features a completely refreshed “intuitive” navigation, search and faster check-out experience – all with the added option to click and collect in store.

Terry O’Connor, group CEO of Courts Asia, said: “The Megastore redesign marks a significant milestone in Courts’ transformation, as we cement our promise to customers to offer them more for less. We are making good living and great in-store experiences accessible and affordable to all Singapore homeowners – a vision that we’ve stayed true to since we first opened in Singapore 43 years ago. Augmented by the relaunch of our e-commerce platform with the largest range amongst our stores, the new Megastore heralds a fresh chapter in retail evolution by integrating best-in-class retail practices to create a unique, experiential shopping experience across online and offline touchpoints.”

At the Courts Megastore media preview on November 8, O’Connor added that the relaunch is planned to coincide with the upcoming 11.11 shopping festival and 50% of shoppers on Courts’ online store choose the “click and collect” option.
