New courier application available in Asia

An application which allows customers to find a courier to deliver parcels was launched in selected Asian countries last month.

Courierun calculates the cost of delivery and shipment of parcels in local currency and customers can make cash payments to the courier. Items for delivery can include envelopes, packages or small boxes that can be carried away.

In a media statement, Courierun said the main purpose of creating applications was the need for a cargo handling system within the city, when the order is delivered on the day of dispatch without the need to deliver it to the logistics center for sorting. The Courierun application currently operates in Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Quezon City, Hong Kong, and more.

Courierun is available on GooglePlay.
