Hermès reopens expanded store in Macau

It now showcases all 16 of the brand’s métiers.

Hermès has reopened its renovated and expanded store at the Four Seasons Macau, offering a larger space that showcases all 16 of the brand’s métiers in a nature-inspired setting.

Originally opened in 2008, the store now features a jade-toned ceramic façade designed to resemble mahjong tiles, with large windows framed by triangular sliding panels.

The refreshed interior includes earthy tones, terrazzo flooring flecked with green and amber, and signature design elements like the Faubourg mosaic.

The space has been reorganised to include dedicated areas for women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewellery, homeware, and more. Highlights include a lacquered green wood salon for watches and jewellery, dark cherrywood panels in the leather and equestrian section, and a private fitting area for men.

Designed by Parisian architecture firm RDAI, the store also features artworks from the Émile Hermès collection and the Hermès Collection of Contemporary Photographs, including botanical illustrations and equestrian prints that reference the brand’s heritage and local culture.

Hermès said the revamped store aims to offer a calm, immersive shopping experience that reflects both Macau’s energy and the house’s craftsmanship.
