HKTDC unveils latest lifestyle essentials in April 5-in-1 fair
The April lifestyle product shows will take place on 19-22 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
As Hong Kong reopens its borders to the rest of the world, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) readies itself to welcome overseas buyers in this year’s April lifestyle products shows.
The HKTDC will host five fairs: Home InStyle; Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair; Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair; Fashion InStyle and Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) between 19-22 April physically. ·With the latest products and trends on display under one roof, these fairs provide an excellent opportunity for traders to build relationships, explore new business opportunities and expand their networks.
The events will also be accessible to interested participants through HKTDC’s signature Click2Match virtual platform from 22 to 29 April to ensure exhibitors and buyers can maximise business opportunities.
Home InStyle
The HKTDC will host the Home InStyle fair, formerly called the Hong Kong Houseware Fair, and the Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair. Home InStyle, which was rebranded to convey changing industry trends, will showcase the latest kitchenware and tableware, interior decor, as well as bath, beauty, and healthcare products; whilst the Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings will highlight the latest designs in baby and bedroom textiles, bathroom and kitchen textiles, and even carpet and floor coverings.
Gifts & Premium
Along with Home InStyle, the Gifts & Premium Fair will feature gift items, ranging from beauty and health goods, commercial gifts, lifestyle gifts, seasonal and decorative gifts, and travel and outdoor goods. The highly-acclaimed Hall of Fine Designs will return as a convergence of reputed brands from around the world. This year, the fair will feature an all-new Cultural & Creative Corner, jointly with the concurrent Home InStyle, which is a curated zone showcasing designer brands and products imbued with cultural uniqueness. The Hong Kong Exporters’ Association will also assemble Hong Kong companies under a pavilion, showcasing the design skills and brand excellence of Hong Kong’s product designers.
Fashion InStyle
Moreover, Fashion InStyle, formerly HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week, will flaunt fashion trends and accessories as well as promote designers in Hong Kong and world-renowned fashion labels. The fair has been keeping abreast of the industry pulse to enrich the fair content. InnoFashion zone will be set up to showcase cutting-edge technology, covering 3D fashion and artificial intelligence (AI) and more. Additionally, to catch the eyes of global buyers, an amazing line-up of fashion designers will put on fashion parades during the fair period.
Printing & Packaging
Lastly, attendees will get a glimpse of the new innovative solutions in food and beverage packaging, retail display, e-commerce packaging, and even green printing and packaging at the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair.
More than 3,200 exhibitors are expected to join the event this year. Attendees will not only see a variety of products on display, they will also have access to exhibitor booths, and interactive events.
Licensing Opportunities
Aside from the April lifestyle product shows, the HKTDC will also hold the Hong Kong International Licensing Show (HKILS) on 19-21 April at the HKCEC.
The HKILS is one of the most licensing-focused exhibitions in the region. It provides a one-stop platform for global licensors and brands to explore business opportunities with licensees, licensing agents, and traders across the globe.
