Tuan Sing and Mitsubishi Estate open Indonesia’s first int'l luxury outlet mall
It offers discounts of up to 70% daily.
Tuan Sing Holdings Limited and Mitsubishi Estate Group have officially opened The Grand Outlet – East Jakarta, Karawang, the first international luxury outlet mall in Indonesia.
The Grand Outlet – East Jakarta, Karawang spans over 27,000 square meters of leasable space within an 88,000 square meter area. It is designed to cater to Indonesia’s growing market of high-quality fashion and lifestyle products, offering discounts of up to 70% daily.
The mall, which had a soft opening last 5 December, features over 100 luxury brands, including Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Bally, and Boss.
“We aim to create a luxurious and accessible shopping destination in a green urban environment,” said Patrick Tan, president director of PT Karawang Outlet Mall (Tuan Sing Holdings).
“Additionally, we aim to foster a dynamic retail ecosystem that benefits all stakeholders, from brand owners and F&B operators to consumers seeking a unique and world-class shopping experience,” he added.
Located in Karawang, it offers free shuttle services from Plaza Semanggi and local hotels, making it accessible to shoppers from Jakarta and the surrounding areas.
Junichiro Kinoshita, director of PT Karawang Outlet Mall (Mitsubishi Estate Indonesia) also noted: “We focus on mixed-use developments that blend retail and commercial spaces, creating vibrant, interconnected environments tailored to contemporary lifestyles and attracting visitors.”
