South Korea’s Paris Baguette opens first Philippine store

It marks the bakery chain’s presence in 11 countries since 2004.

South Korean food and beverage company SPC Group has opened its first Paris Baguette outlet at the SM Mall of Asia in the Philippines. 

Under a master franchise agreement, SPC Group partnered with Paris Baguette Philippines Inc., a subsidiary established by Berjaya Food Berhad in August of the previous year, Yonhap Agency reported.

The Philippines, with its 120 million population, is anticipated to offer significant growth potential for the bakery chain.

The launch marks Paris Baguette's presence in 11 countries since 2004, bringing the global store count to over 550.

In 2022, overseas Paris Baguette stores contributed more than $460m to SPC Group's earnings.
