SM Store and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to launch more in-store cafes by 2026

The upcoming expansion will introduce 53 additional cafes across SM Store branches.

Philippines’ SM Store and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) have announced plans to expand their partnership by adding CBTL cafes to 78 SM Store branches by 2026.

Currently, 25 SM Store locations feature CBTL cafes, including North Edsa, Megamall, and Southmall. The upcoming expansion will introduce 53 additional cafes across SM Store branches.

The collaboration began with the opening of the first CBTL branch at SM Store North Edsa in December 2022. This initial launch marked the beginning of a broader initiative to create inviting spaces for SM Store shoppers.

“Our decision to introduce coffee shops within SM Stores is driven by our customers’ desire for enhanced shopping experiences. We aim to provide a welcoming environment where customers can relax and enjoy themselves,” said Dhinno Tiu, executive vice president of SM Store.

The cafes will also offer exclusive discounts to SMAC cardholders.
