Miniso opens first flagship store in South Korea

The store features over 3,500 products.

Global lifestyle brand Miniso has opened its first flagship store in South Korea, located at 429 Gangnam-daero in Seoul’s Seocho District.

The two-story, 500-square-meter store features over 3,500 products, including vinyl plush toys, blind boxes, and accessories. It introduces a new retail format focused on global IP collaborations and experiences tailored to Korean consumers.

Situated in the heart of Gangnam, one of Seoul’s busiest commercial areas, the store benefits from high foot traffic, with over 150,000 daily commuters and access to 12 bus lines.

To celebrate the opening, Miniso launched its popular Stitch Blind Box Series in South Korea. The limited-edition collection sold out quickly and drew large crowds. The launch event included product drops and fan meet-and-greets, boosting footfall and engagement.

MINISO plans to open more stores in top locations like Myeongdong and Jamsil and will soon launch its first mall store in a Hyundai Department Store complex.
