JD Super partners with leading F&B brands to form Healthy Food Industry Alliance

The alliance involves over a hundred renowned brands in the F&B sector.

JD Super, the online supermarket division of JD.com, formed the Healthy Food Industry Alliance with industry leaders from the food and beverage (F&B) sector.

The alliance includes major organisations, such as the China Light Industry Federation, the China Association of Baked Food and Confectionery Industry, the China Food Industry Association, the Dairy Association of China, and over a hundred renowned brands in the snack and beverage sector.

The initiative aims to further the promotion of more health-conscious food and beverage products into the market, boost high-quality growth, and uphold consumer well-being.

Under the alliance, all entities involved will contribute demand insights, product technology, and consumer education to foster a cooperative ecosystem for healthy food innovation to progress.

Recently, JD Super has dedicated over $138.54m (RMB1b) to support the growth of twelve key categories of trending healthy food and beverage products through product innovation, traffic support, marketing activities, and consumer guidance.

In the past year, the online supermarket has experienced a 60% rise in healthy food stock-keeping units, exceeding 10,000 in transactions.
