DFI Retail reshuffles senior leadership effective 1 August
New leaders were named for IKEA, Food, and Health & Beauty businesses.
DFI Retail Group will reshuffle its senior leadership from 1 August, appointing new leaders for its IKEA, Food, and Health & Beauty businesses, alongside a new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The leadership changes include Andrew Wong as CEO of DFI IKEA, Curtis Liu as CEO of Health & Beauty, Tom van der Lee as CEO of Food, and Kaizhi Wu as Group CFO.
Scott Price, Group CEO of DFI Retail Group, said the appointments are intended to support the retailer's next stage of growth.
"Asia's retail landscape is evolving rapidly, and we are positioning DFI to lead through that change," Price said.
Wong most recently served as CEO of DFI's Health & Beauty business, where he led customer-led growth, retail operations, and in-store digitalisation across multiple markets.
DFI said his experience in customer experience and franchise management will support the development of its IKEA business.
Liu has led DFI's Food business since September 2024, where he oversaw customer value repositioning in Hong Kong and business growth in Cambodia.
The group said his digital retail experience and operational expertise will support the Health & Beauty business.
Van der Lee moves from Group CFO to lead the Food business. As CFO, he strengthened the group's financial discipline and supported strategic decision-making, after previously serving as finance director across DFI businesses in Singapore and Southeast Asia between 2016 and 2019.
Wu succeeds van der Lee as Group CFO. He joined DFI in May 2026 as Group Finance Director, Planning, and Reporting, after serving as Executive Vice President and CFO of Yonghui Superstores Co.
He also held senior roles at Jardine Matheson, Fosun Group, and PwC in London.
DFI said his financial and commercial experience across Greater China and international markets positions him to lead the group's finance function.
Wu will join DFI's management committee when he assumes the role.
