Delivery Hero CEO Niklas Östberg to step down by March 2027

He continues leading the Strategic Review and M&A process.

Delivery Hero SE said Co-Founder and CEO Niklas Östberg will step down no later than 31 March 2027 as part of a planned leadership transition.

The supervisory board and Östberg have jointly agreed that the timing aligns with the company’s next phase of development as it continues to evolve its long-term strategy.

Östberg will remain in his position as CEO throughout the transition period. During this time, he will continue to lead the ongoing strategic review and related mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes that were initiated jointly by the management and supervisory boards and first announced in December 2025.

The company confirmed that he retains the full support of both boards in carrying out these responsibilities.

The company said it plans to initiate the search for a new CEO shortly, with the objective of completing the appointment process by the end of 2026.
