Canon Hong Kong appoints new CEO
Lee will oversee Canon Hong Kong's operations in Hong Kong, Macau, and the Greater Bay Area.
Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) has appointed Gary Lee as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.
In his new role, Lee will oversee Canon Hong Kong's operations in Hong Kong, Macau, and the Greater Bay Area. He aims to continue driving the company’s business expansion and digital transformation through innovative imaging technologies and intelligent business solutions.
“We will continue to drive digital transformation for our customers through innovative imaging technologies and intelligent business solutions,” said Lee. “At the same time, we remain committed to our corporate philosophy of "Kyosei" to create greater value for the society and move towards a sustainable future with other stakeholders.”
Lee, with over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance, has been with Canon Hong Kong since 1997. He has held various senior management positions, contributing to the company’s growth and success across multiple regions.
Lee holds a Business Administration degree from Hong Kong Baptist University and an Executive MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
His career at Canon Hong Kong spans several key milestones. In 2011, Lee was promoted to Senior Director, where he oversaw finance, accounting, information technology, supply chain management, and legal and compliance across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Mongolia. From 2017 to 2024, he served as Vice President and CFO of Canon India, managing a broad range of functions including finance, legal, corporate communication, government relations, and central procurement.
