JD Worldwide launches physical experience center in Xi’an

The centre showcases various products such as food, liquor, and supplements.

Cross-border e-commerce marketplace JD Worldwide has joined hands with Joy City shopping mall to launch a physical experience centre specifically for cross-border products in Xi’an, China, the e-commerce giant said in a press release.

The 360 sqm is the third of such kind by JD.com’s platform, following the previous two in Yantai, Shandong province and Sanya, Hainan province, the company said. The centre showcases food and wine, nutritional supplements, daily necessities and others.

With five experience areas featuring different themes, the centre offers customers the chance to touch and try the displayed products and then make purchases online by scanning the code on product labels.
