Diebold Nixdorf executives spearhead virtual fireside chat on the next evolution in self-service retail technology

Industry experts will discuss how leveraging self-service technology can help retailer’s reach new heights with their business.

The retail landscape is highly influenced by consumer behaviour, and the recent pandemic has not only changed that landscape drastically but also has spurned innovation to accommodate the changes it went through.

Nowadays, consumers are looking for a unique experience whenever they shop, and a huge part of that experience is dependent on lessening the friction and restrictions in the buying process. This means businesses must be always prepared to quickly and easily go to the next level.

To give insight on these changes and discuss how retailers can ramp up their customers’ experience with self-service, Diebold Nixdorf has teamed up with Retail Asia to launch Self-Service: The Next Level Retail Evolution, a 60-minute virtual fireside chat about leveraging self-service technology to reach new heights with your business.

Leading the panelists are Diebold Nixdorf’s top executives, including Vipin Kalra, regional vice president and managing director of Diebold Nixdorf’s Retail segment in the Asia Pacific. Vipin has extensive knowledge in Asia Pacific markets with a 30 year career in banking and finance and the computer hardware and software industry in Australia and the Asia Pacific.

Joining him is Matt Redwood, Diebold Nixdorf’s director of Advance Self-Service Solutions. Matt has more than a decade of experience in sales, consulting and senior management positions and has executed the delivery of retail technology into multiple tier-one retailers globally. His extensive knowledge of the retail industry includes POS, self-service, and enterprise mobility, as well as future innovation and roadmaps, with a high focus on self-service technologies.

Additionally, industry leaders will also be part of the panel to share real life experiences in self-service in the retail environment.

The virtual fireside chat will be on 1 September 2021, at 3PM (SGT).
