Metro and Samsung partner to upgrade Paragon store
Twelve large-format Samsung digital displays installed across three floors.
Samsung Electronics Singapore has partnered with Metro (Private) Limited to modernise its Paragon branch.
The collaboration will introduce large-format digital signage, smart device integrations, and advanced management systems to improve both shopper engagement and store operations.
Twelve new high-resolution displays will be installed across three floors, replacing older LED and LCD screens.
At the new 10,000 sq ft SLEEPLAB, a 60.72-meter U-shaped Samsung IEA Series LED screen wraps three sides of the showroom — the largest indoor retail deployment of its kind in Singapore.
The space offers an immersive experience for shoppers exploring mattresses, pillows, and bedding.
A 15-minute digital art film, “Seven Chapters of Sleep”, uses advanced LED HDR technology and ambient audio to simulate a restful sleep environment.
Retail operations are powered by Samsung SmartThings Pro and MagicINFO, which centralise device control, monitor energy, and manage digital content efficiently. Metro expects up to 30% energy savings and faster content updates across all displays.
Future enhancements include Galaxy Watch and Bespoke AirDresser experiences, allowing shoppers to track sleep quality and sanitise garments in a bedroom-like setting.
