Sino Group launches $2.58m rewards for eight malls

It will hold a cash rebate luck draw with livi bank for seven weeks.

Hong Kong-based property developer Sino Group has launched a range of rebates and rewards worth a total of $2.58m (HK$20m) to customers for eight of its malls, as complement to the government’s recent consumption voucher scheme, a media release revealed.

The developer’s shopping malls rolling out these rewards include tmtplaza, Olympian City, and Citywalk, China Hong Kong City, Island Resort Mall, Gold Coast Piazza, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre.

The exclusive offers and lucky draw prizes in promotions will be run with AlipayHK and livi bank. Sino Group is also cooperating with other e-payment service providers, including Octopus, WeChat Pay HK, and credit card issuers to offer rebates and rewards.

With the AlipayHK tie up,customers will be able to use the electronic consumption vouchers issued by the Government in conjunction with coupons provided by Sino Malls.

Sino Malls will hold a $643.84 (HK$5,000) cash rebate luck draw in partnership with virtual bank livi bank for seven weeks through the summer holiday period beginning in July, handing out a total of $135,200 (HK$1.05m) in cash rebates.

Customers who spend $38.63 (HK$300) or more in the participating malls can take part in the lucky draw and enter twice if they make their payment through livi bank. Each week, 30 lucky winners will each receive a cash rebate.

Members of the Sino Malls' S+ REWARDS loyalty programme, meanwhile, can receive an instant cash rebate of $32.19 (HK$250) by opening a livi bank account using a designated promo code. They can also earn up to $643.84 (HK$5,000) through the referral programme.

Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po announced the details of how to register for and receive the $643.84 (HK$5,000) e-vouchers under the consumption voucher scheme.
