Yunda Express joins Goodman Changzhou Logistics Centre

International property group Goodman Group secured a lease with Yunda Express, an express delivery and third party logistics services provider in China, at its Goodman Changzhou Logistics Centre recently.

Situated in the National High-Tech District of Changzhou, the new 16,700 sqm warehouse development provides distribution services throughout Eastern China and the Greater Shanghai region via the adjacent Jiangyi Expressway and the nearby Shanghai Nanjing Expressway. It is also located close to Changzhou Benniu International Airport and Changzhou Port.

The project is being developed in multiple phases, and on completion, the overall development will offer close to 100,000 sqm of prime logistics space. Yunda Express has committed to Phase Two of the development, which will provide 16,700 sqm of prime warehousing space tailored for its growing delivery express business in China.

Kristoffer Harvey, CEO of Greater China for Goodman, said: “As a major industrial property group globally and in China, Goodman has a proven track record of working closely with leading logistics service providers to deliver tailor-made solutions specific for this sector. The group utilises its extensive design and development expertise to build the best quality logistics facilities that fulfil the business needs of our customers.”

Yunda Express said they had a tight deadline to look for a new warehouse in preparation for the Single’s Day shopping festival, which falls on November 11, but they have full confidence that Goodman will deliver another high-quality facility for Yunda Express under a tight deadline given our existing relationships with Goodman across China.

“We have been very impressed with the innovative design for the space that incorporates our new semi-automatic picking system, which will re-dispatch goods delivered to the Goodman Changzhou Logistics Centre warehouse to the rest of the country, greatly expanding our operational capacity,” a representative from Yunda Express’ management said.
