Omani perfume brand Amouage opens first pop-up boutique in China

The luxury fragrance brand opened its first flagship online store on Tmall Global.

Oman-based luxury fragrance Amouage has opened its first pop-up boutique in mainland China.

Located in the Zhang Yuan community of Shanghai, the boutique offers an immersive experience for consumers with Amouage’s latest collection.

The store itself features a brutalist style from Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer of Amouage, using burnt cork, travertine and sandstone elements that offer a radiant luminosity that represent the heritage of the Sultanate of Oman.

Amouage has built its expansion into the Chinese market since its first partnership with S'Young International in 2020. In August 2021, the fragrance brand unveiled a flagship online store on Tmall Global. Furthermore, the opening of the pop-up boutique comes in part of its 40th anniversary in 2023 and solidifies its plans for expansion into China’s perfume market.
