TikTok Shop launches in US

There are over 150 million TikTok users in the market.

TikTok, a social media platform owned by China-based ByteDance, has rolled out its online shopping platform in the US.

In a news release, Tiktok said TikTok Shopp will allow sellers to conduct in-feed video and Live shopping on the platform.

“It will also allow the sellers to showcase their products and display them through the Shop Tab. TikTok Shop will also allow creators to link with sellers through commission-based product marketing opportunities,” TikTok said.

The online selling platform will also offer sellers TikTok Shop Ads to promote their shops and products.

It also has logistics solutions where TikTok Shop will store, pick, pack, and ship the products to the customers.

TikTok also said that it is collaborating with third-party payment platforms to ensure a  smooth and secure checkout process.
