Introduced as part of SG60 celebrations.
Shopee Singapore has launched the Shopee Majulah Club to help seniors save more and shop online.
Introduced as part of SG60 celebrations, the initiative provides Singaporeans aged 50 and above with exclusive perks, brand discounts, and digital literacy support to make online shopping easier and more affordable.
Eligible seniors can join by updating their birthdate in the Shopee app. Once verified, they will get 20% cashback with no minimum spend, discounts from brands like Shopee Supermarket, Guardian, and New Moon, and access to specially curated “$6 and under” and “$60 and under” deals. Members will also receive an automatic upgrade to Gold Tier in the Shopee Loyalty Program, unlocking perks like Free Next Day Delivery Vouchers.
Shopee has seen a 10% increase in users aged 50 and above from 2023 to 2024.
“Through this initiative, we want to make online shopping more accessible, intuitive and beneficial for seniors,” said said Chua Kel Jin, director of Shopee Singapore. “Our aim is to empower them with the confidence, tools and support to participate fully in the digital economy and enjoy the convenience that technology can bring to their daily lives.”
