Philippines’ FRUITAS launches cloud kitchen 'Nube Kuxina'

It will feature food brands, such as Balai Pandesal, and Ling Nam, amongst others.

Philippine-based food and beverage company FRUITAS Holdings, Inc. launched “Nube Kuxina,” a cloud kitchen that will feature various food brands it acquired in the past couple of years.

"We have been strategically acquiring food brands over the past two and a half years,” Lester Yu, FRUIT president, and CEO, said.

“It makes sense to put all of our food brands together in strategic locations to provide access to as many customers as possible within a reasonable distance.”

The Nube Kuxina will feature Balai Pandesal, Ling Nam, and Sabroso Lechon, De Original Jamaican Pattie.

“We will leverage our internal logistics capabilities and partner with third-party service providers to deliver the best experience possible to our customers," Yu also said.

This is on top of FRUIT’s move to expand its online store Babot’s Mart. The store is now available on e-commerce platforms, such as Shopee and Lazada.

The company is also working to create its own e-commerce website, www.babotsmart.com.

FRUIT, which currently has a 720-store network across the Philippines, is planning to continue its expansion.
