Amazon Australia to hire 600 seasonal workers for mid-year sales
Roles will focus on picking and packing orders.
Amazon Australia is hiring 600 seasonal workers across its fulfilment centres and logistics sites to support the mid-year sales season, including the Prime Day event in July.
The seasonal positions will help with picking and packing orders to meet the expected customer demand. These workers will ensure Prime members receive fast, free delivery on a wide range of eligible items.
“These roles offer competitive pay, a safe and inclusive work environment, and the opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven workplace,” said Jacqui Marker, HR director of operations at Amazon Australia.
Prime Day, Amazon’s exclusive sale for Prime members, will feature discounts on various products, from everyday essentials to electronics, home goods, and more.
Seasonal roles at Amazon may lead to permanent positions, offering benefits such as life insurance, income protection, and subsidised private health cover for the entire family.
