MINISO opens doors of first flagship store in Malaysia

The MINISO 3.0 features a brand new toy section.

Retailer MINISO has opened the door to MINISO 3.0, its first flagship store in Malaysia.

The new branch, which has an area of 684.6 square metre, is located at the Setia City mall. It is also amongst the largest shopping complexes in Shah Alam in Selangor, Malaysia.

“The dedicated toy section allows every MINISO customer to experience the immense fun and joy brought about by our toys, while enjoying the treasure hunt shopping experience in our store,” Vincent Huang, Vice President of International Business Department at MINISO, said. “The flagship store truly speaks our belief – ‘Life is for fun’.”

The MINISO 3.0, unlike other branches, features a brand-new toy section that presents licensed products from intellectual property owners as well as MINISO’s original MINI Family section.

The section, which occupies 20% of the retail space, has a plushie wall, blind box wall, and a play area for building blocks.

Moreover, MINISO 3.0 has a fragrance feature wall that introduces MINISO’s scented products. This comes as MINISO observed Southeast Asian customers are becoming more interested in fragrances.
